Vocalist Dee Macomber is the female front of Alter Ego. Dee brings a powerful female lead vocal
to the band, and likes to mix things up with an anything goes attitude! With tremendous range, she's able
to cover all the musical bases that Alter Ego wants to pursue. She holds a music degree from Ithaca College,
a Masters from Syracuse University, and teaches music in the East Syracuse-Minoa School District. She's been featured
as a lead vocalist in acts such as Prime Time, The 8 Track All-Stars and Johnny Hart and the Jumpstarts, but is
most well known as the frontwoman for The Electric Chick Magnets.

None of this is possible without Mom teaching me to go through those John Denver song books with her!! After
the millionth time through “Take Me Home Country Roads” though, I revolted and took up the drums (granted... I was 12, and lived through the era where rototoms were the coolest thing on the planet). A couple of years ago
after seeing Duncan Sheik and the Barenaked Ladies,
I decided I had to do what they did. I picked up the
guitar again and never looked back. Everything started out acoustic, doing solo Dave Matthews style gigs before moving into more full-band stylings, starting with guest appearances with Prime Time, The Electric Chick Magnets, and the 8-Track All Stars. Currently gigging with Trial By Fire and Alter Ego, and having the time of my life. Who says it's too late to be a rock star?

Aaron holds a BA in music and a minor in audio productions from Ithaca College and is
currently working to complete his Masters in Education at LeMoyne. Upon graduating from
Ithaca in 1998, Aaron toured nationally with the 8-piece funk/jam band Nozmo King.
Opening for acts like Soulive, Merl Sanders, The Jerry Garcia Band and Derek Trucks, Nozmo’s
relationship with Limelite Entertainment eventually landed them in Boston in 2000. Shortly after,
the band disbanded. Aaron went on to teach instrumental/vocal/general music in the Haverhill
Public Schools System (Haverhill, MA) and perform with several bands in the Boston area for
five years. In 2005 he returned to Central New York and began teaching in the Chittenango Central
School District where he serves as the High School Instrumental Music Teacher. In addition, Aaron
teaches privately and is active playing trumpet in local churches such as Immaculate Conception in
Fayetteville and the First Presbyterian Church in Cazenovia. He lives in Chittenango with his wife
Denise and daughters
